About this grade
Origin: Algeria.
Ciment Portland CEM I 42,5N SR5 is milled at a certified Algerian cement plant from ≥99% sulfate-resisting clinker with ~4% gypsum. Its low C3A content (≤5%, actual 4.94%) and controlled C4AF+2C3A (≤22%) give concrete strong resistance to sulfate-ion attack during and after setting — suited to seawater, selenitic groundwater, and other high-sulfate environments. Certified to EN 197-1:2012 with actual 28-day strength of 47.52 MPa (spec ≥42.5 MPa). Supplied in 50 kg bags or in bulk by truck/rail.
